Garden Series
Dahlias, magnolias, tulips: the focus of this series is the delicacy of colour and form found in our natural surroundings. First inspired by a visit to the Jardin des Plantes in Coutances, France, this series explores the colour and form of flowers, buds, and leaves in the parks and gardens that I visit. These paintings zoom-in on small sections of garden-beds and tree branches to highlight organic shapes.
